This week I have been a crafting fool! I made a birthday card, a shaker card, two Christmas cards, a Halloween card, and a Halloween card box. In addition, I started making some Christmas presents. Tonight I am going to a crop and next weekend I am going for an entire weekend crop. Watch in the next few days and I will show some of what I have been making.
Speaking of the next few days, October 3 is our hop over at Sweet Magnolia Honey Bee Corner. The design team will be revealing some Halloween creations. Go check it out. Until then......
This is a blog where I can share some things I have been learning, both in my Stampin Club and on my own. Let's share our creativity here!

Design Team
I am proud to announce that I have been selected to be on the Design Team for Sweet Magnolia Rose Honey Bee Corner. I will be assisting in writing blogs, along with creating some of the cool things MistyRose has on her site. Honey Bee Corner has kits that she is designing and selling. I am told they are not that easy to make, so I am excited for the challenge. I've seen a few of them, and boy, do they look fun! The site has videos and tutorials that you surely will learn a new technique from.
I'll be taking my first adventure with Honey Bee Corner this month, so come on by. There are monthly challenges along with card swaps. Come over, make some friends, and let's get scrapping!

Lots of fun things
Well, today was a good day for me. First, I received some beautiful paper and stamps and ribbons in the mail today. I cannot wait to play with them and see what I make. Second, I was at a garage sale and bought 2 stamp sets that were practically new. This sale also had a huge box of embellishments, ranging from stickers to ribbon to brads to eyelets for me to buy ($2). Then I went to a friend's house and she gave me a lot of brads, buttons, tags, etc. (she is moving out of state). So I made out like a bandit today.
Because I have this new stuff and because I have bought some things, I decided I was going to go through my stash and see what I can dispose of. So I have a big box of things that I am giving to Megan, my daughter-in-law. In April this year we went to a weekend crop. I got her hooked, just like I am. The first weekend in October we are going on another weekend crop. She wil get this box of goodies and perhaps she will have fun with it too. I love to share and love when people share with me!

Coasters
Hello. I wanted to share with all of you my latest creation. On Sweet Magnolia Rose Honey Bee Corner's blog, there is a challenge to use 3 different textures for a challenge. I made some coasters. The textures I used include: tile, Adroninack inks, and felt. First, I purchased the tiles at Home Depot (about 16cents each). Then I used the Adroninack inks to stamp designs on the coasters. I put felt squares on the bottom of the coasters so it does not scratch the table. Cute, cheap, and fun to do. Now I am going to see about making other projects with the inks!

New Challenges
Have you been over to Sweet Magnolia Rose Honey Bee? There are several challenges there. One challenge (in the group Cards, Cards, and More Cards) is to create a card regarding Breast Cancer Awareness. Another challenge is a texture challenge and it is in the group Defiez vos amis technique. There is a Monthly Swap club. So what are you waiting for? Hop on over and join the challenges there. I hope to see some good ideas I can "borrow".
