Since tags are a big thing this year, I decided to make one for myself. I bought 4 tags that are still attached and used this. They are the large tags. I covered each with patterned paper (I used one color on one side and another one the other). Lesson 1 - be sure to cut out each tag's paper; do not use one continuous page. The paper will not bend gracefully. Then I used chipboard letters to make the word Love. Lesson 2 - make sure you have all the letters or you have to borrow from others (thanks Kathy!). The letters were then colored with Stampin Up colored pencils. I glued the letters on the tags. To embellish, I used sunglasses and dragonfly chipboard pieces I bought at Michaels for about 25 cents each. To finish it off, I put several pieces of ribbon in each. So I only learned 2 lessons, but, I will remember them!
This is a blog where I can share some things I have been learning, both in my Stampin Club and on my own. Let's share our creativity here!

LOVE in Tags
This past weekend I went to a Girlfriend's Getaway in St Louis. It was 3 days of scrapping, laughing, and card making. This is the second time I went to the event this year. I go with my friend Kathy and my daughter-in-law Megan. We stay up way too late, don't eat good, and make lots of items. We see how creative the other ladies in the room are and even take away some cool ideas. You also learn a few lessons.
